A spectacular location for adventure, learning and having loads of fun! This program is a unique
opportunity that will enrich the thrill of discovery, the pride of accomplishment and the excitement
of exploring the wilderness. The ultimate goal is to challenge young adults to discover their own
abilities, overcome self-imposed limitations, develop greater responsibility and gain greater insight
into themselves and the world around them.
Expeditions are with students from communities in NYC, trekking through specific regions of Costa
Rica. Allowing students to capture a sense of the area’s ecology, value the diversity and experience
true adventure. A new level of awareness will be gained by stepping out of one's personal comfort
zones, taking on a group experience in a unique environment while acquiring invaluable wilderness
skills.
